Mercer County has one of the highest median property taxes in the nation and is ranked 17th of 3,143 counties in order of median property taxes. With taxes this high our roads should be smooth and free of potholes, our parks should be the most beautiful in the state and more than 200,000 of our friends, family and neighbors should not have to worry about Legionella bacteria in their water. Lisa will work hard to fix the problems we all face and make Mercer County a place where folks want to live, work and raise a family.

Under single-party rule, poor leadership cost Mercer County taxpayers $4.5 million. To prevent this from ever happening again, Lisa will bring a new approach of working together with the Board of Commissioners to be good stewards of your tax dollars. Additionally, Lisa will work with the County Commissioners to control spending and not force costs onto municipal governments. 

  On Election Day 2022 every voting machine in every polling place failed to work! When things like this happen, folks lose confidence in the process. We have to work to ensure the integrity of our elections is never again questioned. Lisa will work hard to restore confidence in the electoral process.
